How to Jump Start a Car

Sometimes the car battery might die from a various of things like leaving lights on and such things, If so, you will need to jump start the car, and we will guide you on how to do that.




1. Open each car's hood and locate the battery. for most cars , it will be under the hood,top right or left, and other cars in can be located in the trunk.If you don't know, look threw the manual to find location of the battery. and identify  the positive and negative terminals.




 2. Park the cars close by. Make sure the cars or close together as possible that the jumper cables can hook up to each car. Turn off all electrical components. on both cars.





3. Connect the jumper cables in the order below:

  • Connect 1 red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery.
  • Connect the other red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the good battery.
  • Connect 1 black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the good battery.
  • Connect the other black clamp the the negative (-) terminal of the dead battery.




4. Start the working car.The the car idle for a few minutes. rev the engine slightly above idle for 30 to 60 seconds. your charging the dead cars battery when doing this.






5. Try to start the dead vehicle. If the car doesn't start, shut the engine of, and readjust the cables for more grip. Wait a few more minutes and try again. If this doesn't work, you have to have the car towed or get a replacement battery asap.





 6. Remove the jumper cables once the car starts. don't let and of the clamps touch each other. and head on your way.
